Last thursday I took part in a Co Creation Day as a Creative Illustrator. Whilst there I got the chance to meet some great people working with a great brand. Luckily for me I got the chance to speak with the Brand Manager. I took her details in hope of a placement and yesterday I took the first step to getting the ball rolling. I sent this simple email...

Hey Zoe,

We spoke on Thursday at the Co Creation Day and I just wanted to reiterate my interest in a placement with you. I feel that I need more of an insight into your role so that I can recognise the skills I need to possess in order to progress in my career. If it is still possible for me to gain some work experience with you, I would love to get involved. If you could let me know when best suits you, I would only need a couple of weeks notice to organise myself. 

If all goes well, I would be extremely excited to get the chance to experience the pea harvest in the summer.
